Abbie Cagle A native of Gilmer County, Abbie Cagle received her Bachelor's degree in Art Education and Masters in Early Childhood Education from North Georgia College. She later obtained a Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University. She is in her 29th year of teaching with the Gilmer County School System and has enjoyed teaching art for 23 of those years. "Over time, Abbie has found pleasure in exploring several media including watercolor, acrylics and clay. My most recent passion involves the creation of beaded jewelry. She is self-taught and her love of nature inspires all of her many color combinations. Each piece is unique. Abbie lives in downtown Ellijay with her husband, Lee, one dog and one cat, both of whom feel it is their duty to nap beside her as she creates her works of art.
