Lenzy Griffin Bond Glasslenzy Lenzy has been working with glass for seventeen years. Her professional work, opening new restaurants, put her in contact with stained glass artists doing installations and repairs. Watching and talking with those artists inspired her to try to bring the glass to life herself. When her husband gave her lessons as a gift she was off and running. Lenzy enjoys the beautiful colors of the glass and the thrill of seeing them come together in an original creation. She gets an equal thrill from teaching, saying, “I love to see my students amaze themselves.” Lenzy graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BFA degree. She has studied a variety of glass working techniques with a number of teachers, Stained Glass with Beverly Black, Design with Fran Arceneaux, Flamework Sculpting with Kelly Shatto, Flamework Beads with Marilyn Jobe and Kaleidoscopes with Janice Chesnick. Lenzy's work has been exhibited at the following locations:
